Honey and I FINALLY went grocery shopping yesterday! There was nothing in our house. So we have tons of fruit, yogurt, and yummy whole foods. I can't wait to load up on fruit this week!
Last week we didn't go grocery shopping, so I stopped for my lunch every day on the way to school. I thought I'd really like that - getting to eat just about whatever I felt like eating. But by the middle of the week, I was tired of stopping, tired of getting microwave meals, and tired of spending money on food that was only okay.
I have a new, fun thing - an infuser pitcher. There is a plastic rod (with holes) down the middle of the pitcher - fill the inside with fruit, and the water gets a delicious little fruit taste to it. Right now it's filled with kiwi and strawberry. The fruit is good in there for about a week. I found it at Bed Bath and Beyond (with a coupon, of course).
It's off to the gym this morning. I am (finally!) almost done with the first workout of my book The New Rules of Lifting for Women. It took so long mostly because I got sick a couple times the last few months. But I definitely notice a difference - I can only imagine what's going to happen when I really buckle down with no winter sickness and concentrating on my nutrition!
So today's focus will be on NOT SNACKING at school. ONE snack if I am truly hungry - THAT'S IT. I need to kick this ridiculous habit of eating crap at school.
Time to finish my tea and update the play list...
