This week went pretty good. I concentrated on tracking Monday - Friday. I decided not to make any changes to my eating. I just tracked what I ate with no pressure on myself. It was immediately clear to me I need to eat more veggies and get in more protein. I wrote down every thing I ate each day and entered it every evening. I was over on my calories every day. Usually 200 - 300 calories.
On Friday I learned how to group foods making it easier to enter them and my breakfast is pretty much the same these days so I copied from day to day. Simplifying this process makes it feel effortless but the insight I gained armed me with the knowledge I need for success.
I have never had a problem with exercise as I go straight to the gym from work.
All in all I think this was a successful week. I met my goal of tracking for 5 days and even though I was over on my calories I still lost 1.8 pounds.
Next week I will continue to track and continue my exercise routine. I will change what I eat for lunch. It will include at least two servings of vegetables and at least 8 oz of water.
