My 1st Run

Today was a pretty successful day! I tested out my injured knee to see how it would do by running half of a mile on the track. To my surprise, my knee felt fine. However, my lungs were screaming! haha So for the last half of the mile, I walked at a decent pace to allow my lungs to expand a little more without being overworked. And once the girls and I did a few more laps, I felt like I was back to normal with my lungs no longer burning so I decided to run another half of a mile. Once I was done with that, I walked another lap for a cool down. I was happy to see that my second set of the half mile was much better and my lungs were no longer screaming at me.

I am finally on the road to being an athlete again!!!
