I went to see my gyno today to see what my next step to try to control my crohn's disease flare-ups.....
This was what I decided....
I am having a hysterectomy in July.
I have to have my next colonoscopy in July, and my gyno told me I could have BOTH of them done on the same day.
I make my appt for the scope on June 22. And I will set up the appt for the surgery at the same time. I'll have my hysterectomy done first, then my scope.
Spend the night in the hospital, and my period WILL NEVER CAUSE MY CROHN'S TO FLARE UP.

That sounds like such a good plan. I'm hoping everything works out for the best, but no more period and no more Crohn's disease flare ups, and colonoscopy done? Seriously, amazing! emoticon

Sounds like a win-win deal, get both out of the way and done, and your Crohn's will be easier to manage, right on!

That must be a great deal of courage for next months, for any surgery. I never had surgery, or been to hospital yet, so I can only imagine. But I think, it must be not easy, even if one is got used to it. I'm happy you will have a permanent cure. We are here to support you, just let us know. Daisy team is good.
