Iíve been away from SP and my SP friends for a while. Withdrew from my leadership positions. I lost my enthusiasm for posting and blogging and havenít been able to get it back. It seemed that each time I tried, some other misfortune came along and took the wind out of my sails. I, personally, physically and financially, have been doing well. My family has had some hard times, accidents, health problems, emergencies, etc. that have taken all my emotional energy.
Some contact with a few SP Friends has encouraged me and the thought that itís about time for my annual blood work and physical, along with the knowledge that itís much harder to get something back than it is to maintain it, has suddenly SPARKED my tiny little brain to ďget with itĒ again.
So here I am with my 12-12 Personal Challenge. Starts May 12th; ends June 12th. The numbers mean something to me. I guess thatís all that counts.
My goals are simple: to eat in a way thatís good for ME Ė daily; and to do the joint exercises Iíve discovered and devised to keep my knees and hips working and avoid that hip replacement surgery Iíve been told is coming.
Healthy eating for my body is to avoid Starch and Sugar as much as possible and to EAT LESS. Pretty simple. Not always easy. Does always work for my body.
