hoping

I keep wishing and hoping and praying and whatever else the words to that song are.... emoticon

Well, I'm feeling a little better today, but I don't think I should extend this technique beyond this week until I switch to something else for a bit. But now The Sweetie just decided to start carb switching, so I'm definitely committed to it for the rest of the week. I just know that my brain is screaming for serotonin, and I'm not going to get it until I carb up, and it's dropping quickly on the carb down days.....I'll get it figured out eventually, though. At least I'm getting enough magnesium now....

Not sure what's happening with the scale. Things will settle down. It's all good. ;-D One day at a time, right?

I've done the low carb for years adding things back in slowly is the trick...figuring out what you can't eat is the trick...but I got to the point that I was eating anything and everything just watching my serving size. Then I got pregnant but all is going back to normal now...GL... emoticon

I know that I cannot live without my carbs, sort of. A few years ago, one of my friends tried to convince me to do the "no carb" diet because she told me how much weight her BF had lost. I was not convinced & remembered hearing that men do much better than women on that plan, BUT if they start going back on the carbs again the weight all comes back & more easily.

I don't know how true it is but I'd much rather watch HOW much I'm ingesting and to cut back on ALL the UNHEALTHY things, like FRIED foods (my BIGGEST downfall).
