It has been ages since I was able to schedule a session with my trainer. I am back from China where I was working for 10 months and lost 20 more pounds from the initial 55 that I lost on Spark and then maintained (Feb-July with Spark). I had a gym in my building where I was living in China so I did work out, but not as vigorously as I do when I have a trainer show me a routine.
I went to the gym last night with a new trainer and it was hard work. I was sweating 5 minutes into it. The forward lunges with 15lb dumbells was a killer, 3x accross the room, and then she added a bicep curl for 3 more times. Then side lunges. My quads were burning, but it felt good! I realized I hadn't been working hard at working out for awhile.
So while I am sore today walking down stairs, I feel great for working out. And can't wait for my next workout, but have to let the muscles rest (they need it).
I am going to update my goal to lose 20more pounds , but more to lose my muffin top and tighten my butt and gluts and just be more toned. Down 2 more pant sizes as well (depending on the make). I bought some new workout pants, I don't know what they are called, but yoga pant like but only just past the knee, they look so cute, never thought I would look cute in workout pants! I am starting to look like the others I looked at in the gym and wanted to look like.
