Run for the Roses!

Saturday, May 07, 2011

Today this filly did a 5k Run/walk for the Roses. emoticon I beat my previous time by 1 second. It was usual. emoticon If I am going to jog in the rain, I think I need better clothes to wear. I think I am starting to get a head cold too. Stopping to spit is so unlady-like. lol

Is it too early for a Mint Julep? emoticon It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? emoticon

emoticon good job! Look for clothes with the "dri-fit" label. You'll still get wet but it is supposed to keep your skin dry. What is actually in a mint julip anyway?

I love the Derby! I just wish I could actually be there some day and not just watch on TV. I'll join you in the mint julep.
