Start of the 5% Challenge

Well the Spring 5% challenge starts today and after 3 weeks of not weighing I seem to have gained 3 lb's!

I am not happy with my progress and have only myself to blame - Easter and chocolate are not good for me.

Now I am ready to start again, I have the tools and the support and now DH has been advised by the doc he needs to lose a little weight so I think in helping him it will keep me motivated - maybe I will challenge him to a weekly weight loss challenge.

I have a review booked at the gym for Thursday to change my gym routine so that should help as well and my next 5k is booked for 7th June so I will be training hard for that.

I have amended my goals and I am now ready to set off onn this 8 week journey.

    Seems to come on faster and easier than it goes off, doesn't it?! Hope you ENJOYED that Easter food and Chocolate. We need to do that too sometimes. With all the exercise you get in, I'm sure it will come off quickly. Glad to have you back on the team!

I totally slacked off over Easter, too. And my daughter's birthday party right after. Oh well, just need to get back on track! Having hubby along should help.

    Today is a new day and a new chance...I know you will do this, and having DH on board is always a nice boost in avoiding temptation and detours! We will do this! I'm getting ready for fitness minutes as soon as I hit some blogs...have a great Saturday!!

    I indulged myself between the challenges and only gained a little -- and I got it back off -- but two weeks ago I had HOPED to make ONEderland by TODAY... and then I sabotaged myself! I'm going to a Tea Party and our table has an Alice In Wonderland theme ... I was hoping to be Melli In Onederland! Alas! Not happening! My own fault! BUT... today begins the fresh challenge... and down WE go!!! (through the rabbit hole!) emoticon
