I havenít blogged in awhile. Iíve wanted to, but felt like I needed something meaningful to say or it wasnít important. Well, maybe this is or isnít meaningful or important to anyone else, but it is to me, so here goesÖ..
Iíve been a member of Spark for almost 4 months now.
Iíve lost 45 pounds.
I exercise almost every day and love it.
I am registered to run my first sanctioned 5K this Sunday (my Motherís Day present to myself.)
I will run a 4 mile race on Memorial Day (with my son, who has started running with me recently YIPPEE!)
I will run a 10K race on the Fourth of July.
I will run a half-marathon in September.
I am doing an ďextremeĒ 5K with my son and nephew in September.
I cross train on my non-running days.
I look for active things to do for fun instead of sitting on the couch watching TV.
Iíve planted a vegetable garden for the first time in my life.
I eat fruits and vegetables every day.
I drink my 8 glasses of water every day.
I havenít drunk soda in 4 months.
I log everything I eat at least 99.9% of the time.
Iím more confident.
I KNOW I can do things Iíve only dreamed of being able to do before (like all of the above things that Iím doing!)
I tell people every day about how SparkPeople has changed my life. Actually, SparkPeople hasnít changed my life, Iíve changed my life WITH the help of SparkPeople and I am in awe of that.
If you are reading this, you can live a life that before you only imagined. It is possible. Make the choice. I have.
