Day 3 of Clean and Stripped

Yesterday I stuck with the types of food, but went over a little on portion size of my rice blend. I also had one Dove Dark chocolate promise. So I am going to go with a 90% compliance on that one. I hit all of my goals other wise, with the exception of cleaning two rooms. Ended up getting caught with some work to do and a patient in crisis, so my time was well spent. I did check in with hubby - he is still sticking with the plan and kinda likes me making lunches for him. Cannot say that I have ever done that in 18 years of marriage. LOL

I am feeling good, returning to pre-half marathon weight rapidly and the healthy clean eating feels like it is assisting with my recovery. I do not feel over full or excessively hungry.

I am kinda saddened though. I noticed some mini drama in one of my favorite team rooms. I hope that passes quickly. I love, admire and so respect the leaders and members of that team. It has become one of my favorite places to go for support, encouragement, and to do the same for others. I sure hope it stays that way...

Ok enough of that...

I am heading to the office today for 8 hours of patients. 8 hours in other jobs I have done has always seemed like a short day....when I do clinical psychology work, 8 hours can feel like a lifetime. I love it...no doubt. It is just emotionally sapping at that length of time. I can do it though and I will come home and self care.

I have packed my lunch (spinach with watermelon and shrimp - Thanks Carolyn and Tosca Reno)
grabbed some almonds, a pear, and a huge water bottle. I had my Ezekial muffin with an egg and yogurt cheese today...really like that alot. Dinner - well, that is less planned, but I can do it.

Ok - off to the races

    Is the "Stripped" book new? I don't remember seeing that one in the past when I have looked at Tosca's books. I could be remembering the names wrong though.

Sounds like you are doing great! I definitely need to get back to eating cleaner.

    I just finished the Stripped book. I am planning on putting it into action soon. I was eating clean 95% of the time up until Dec. I have to say I definitely felt better when I did.
