OK, so I've been happily on maintenance for about four months now. Glad to have reached 125 lbs, and to wear jeans that I never thought would fit me.
For the last couple of weeks, I've been...........well..... not slipping, but complacent.
I saw the promotions for the Spring Boot Camp, and thought "Terrific, I'll join on the First." Which I did. Only problem is that we have a PC that is far from ideally situated for exercise. Turns out, working out with the videos was mucking up my schedule in such a way that I actually got LESS exercise than I had been. So I left the challenge.
On the good side of that coin, it served as the kick in the arse I needed to get back in gear and take things seriously. The LAST thing I want is to see myself lose ground.
So I can't say that I failed, I just got a very different result from the challenge than I expected. Sometimes quitting is the right thing to do, I guess.
Who'd a thunk it?
