So today I was doing my usual routine when I got home from bringing my husband to work. Normally I just sit and watch a little tv and relax, I had to close at work tonight and he had to work early so I was pretty tired. For the first time in a long time I only managed to do that for about 30 minutes, I was very restless and my hip was bugging me.
Today instead of spending the rest of my time watching tv and being a lazy bum I got up and put in the Zumba fitness game that my husband got me for the xbox. Although I didn't get every step right I was able to complete 4 songs and it was so much fun!! I just put that exercise in the fitness tracker and I couldn't believe how many calories I burned in just those few songs! After I finished with that game (I was a little breathless) I put in the biggest loser game that my husband also got me for the xbox, and I did some yoga!!!
I have been slowly losing weight since I have been on my blood pressure meds and I am feeling more energetic and this is very encouraging. I just wish I could figure out what it is that will give me that one last push and where I will just take the steps I need to take to reach my goals.
I work with a great woman who is an inspiration, not even a year ago she started working on losing weight and she has gone from about a 22/20 to a 12/14! She mainly just counts her calories and goes to the gym for zumba classes.
