Stop It!

It's time for you to stop making excuses for not exercising. I know. I used to do it to. I'm too tired. I just got off work. I don't have time. I have to clean the house. I have to cook dinner. I have to wash clothes. I have to go to the grocery store. Well today I did have to go to the grocery store. I work 3rd shift. That is from 10pm to 6:30am and I do my workout when I get home. I usually workout from 7 ish to 8 ish. I try to do an hour. Sometimes I'll go to the Y and sometimes (since I'm doing the C25k) I go to the park on the bike trail. Either way, I make it a PRIORITY to get in at least an hour of exercise at least 6 days a week. I used to make excuses but I have now come to the conclusion that excuses will get me and you nowhere. In the past (just a month ago) if I had to go to the grocery store when I got off work, I would tell myself that I am too tired to do anything else but go to sleep when I get home. Not now. I had my mind made up that as soon as I got off work I would go to the grocery store and then after I got home I would workout and that's exactly what I did! And, I even did an extra workout. I did SI6 Burn It Up and then I did Hip Hop Abs Cardio Burn. I worked out for a total of 90 minutes. So I excelled and surpassed what my goal is (60 minutes) and had no excuses to not do it. You have to make your self a priority. If you care about your self, you have to put yourself first. How can you care about anyone or anything else if you don't care about yourself. Exercising is a way to improve yourself. It's a way to make a good thing better. Who doesn't want to be better. Yes, you may be losing weight without exercising, but why not kick it up a notch and exercise as well. You will be very pleased at the results you see. I swear that I am melting. I don't know how this fat is leaving my body but it is and at a rapid pace. I'm probably sweating it out because I sweat like a ???? I don't know what sweats a lot, but when I'm working out I sweat like whatever sweats a lot! Lol! Anyway. I feel so invigorated and good about exercising. I am going to be an exercise advocate. I feel strong and in control when I exercise. I feel like I am doing something good for my body. Exercise is a self esteem booster, a confidence booster. I may not be at goal weight yet but I can definitely picture myself at goal when I'm exercising, and exercising is getting me closer and closer. I can smell it. emoticon emoticon
