I finally made the list!!!!

I've been a member of spark for a little over five years. When I signed up I didn't really know where this journey would take me. I started doing exercise and eating right, but I still struggled to make it and I couldn't understand why. Yes I talked to other members and encouraged them to continue to walk their journey's as well. I still struggled even though I joined the gym, joined curves and a few other programs to teach me to eat right and exercise consistently. I tried diet programs and special diets that help you lose weight fast. I lost a few lbs. and I'd gain the weight right back. Now five years have gone by and from all this I learned that no diet pill can make you feel good about you. No diet program can make see yourself for who you truly are. No gym membership means I'm gonna go to the gym. A spark friend can only encourage and give you kind words to help you reach your goals. None of my spark friends can do the work for me.
It's taken me five years to learn what others have known from day one.
You have to take daily action towards your goals. You have to reach out to others when you struggle to help motivate you to hold on. You have to make the decision to be healthy, fit and stick to your decision. Most of all when you write your to do list make sure that you are on it. I wake up everyday and make the conscious decision to work out and eat right. Before I do anything for anyone else I workout and eat a healthy breakfast.
I have finally made my own list and it feels good. I walk by the mirror and I smile because I see the results of all my hard work. Yes I work hard but I'm having fun to. Now when I go to the gym I'm serious and I get a great work out.
God has been good to me and answered my prayer to be fit. What he showed me was all I needed was inside of me the whole time.
Thank you all of my spark friends for all your support , because when I see you guys doing it I know I can too!!!! emoticon
