Job Loss and Weight Loss Hurdles

Thursday, April 28, 2011

I recently lost my job and it has been so easy to just sit in front of the computer or television and waste countless hours feeling pathetic and like a failure.

Right now, I am overwhelmed by the huge task in front of me. I need to reinvent myself and start my job search. I want to do something that will bring me true joy and a feeling of accomplishment.

I am going to the gym in an hour and no matter what, I will not allow anything to hinder that goal. I do not feel like a winner, but every goal has a starting line.

Here we go!

Good luck on your start. Starting is the hardest part... they always say the first two weeks is the worst- but once you get used to everything, your confidence builds and the confidence becomes more addictive than food.

Good luck!!

Aww! Hang in there! It's wonderful to see that you're still focusing on good habits, even though things are tough! Just know that you can do it, and that every time you do something positive for yourself you're a winner! Best of luck!
