Yesterday it was a good day on my challenge, but an exhausting one, as wells. I started my day picking up my daugther, Maria, and my granddaughter, Sofia to go to the mall, while Laura attended her workshop and therapy. While driving to a new outlet, about 40 minutes away from town, Sofia had her first nap, so that means she will wake with lots of energy.
Entering the mall, we found a terrific sale at Bass Outlet, on Spring and Summer sandals. So Maria got a couple pairs of sandals, I got a pair of sandals and I bought a pair of sandals for my mother as her present on Mother's Day. By then, Sofia was awake and wanted to be off the stroller and running around. Maria wanted to get a couple of dresses, so I told her to go ahead into the stores and will play with Sofia, at the small children park they got inside the mall.
But as I told you before, she wanted to run. So she started running and was telling me, "run, granny, run, chase me." She is 2 years old so she does not run that fast, nor far away, but she kept running and running and running around for more than 30 minutes, until I remember they had lil cars , for the kids to use. She was very please to see the cars and she chose the green one, and I had about 5 minutes relief until she saw the yellow one and she wanted to swicht cars, and so on, on all colors cars.... ??? !!! I was the one who was puzzled.
Then Maria showed up and asked me to go into Calvin Klein outlet cause she love 4 dresses and she wanted help to decide for one. So we did, but Sofia got so excited about buying colorful clothes, she was amazed by the store, mentioning all source of pieces and colors, like the green shirt, the pink pants, the yellow dress, that aunt Maria decided to take her to Children Palace for some cloth buying for niece Sofia. So was in chocked for all the clothes in there, for some minute she got nuts picking shirts, dresses and shoes. But finally, aunt Maria sat with her in the floor and explain she had to choose. Well Sofia is a very wise little girl and she understood very well. So she decided for the summer shorts, a couple of shirts and a cap.
By then I was really hungry and tired; I needed my lunch and some rest, please!!!!
We went to the food court and Maria had some sushi, I had a taco salad, but Sofia decided she was not hungry and only had a juice. When my salad came in she saw the chicken with pico de gallo on top and started asking for chicken, but not any chicken, she said granny's chicken. It was a joy for me to shair my chicken with her, but I ended up having a low protein intake yesterday, again. After lunch, Maria went to Reebok Outlet, Nike Outlet and Gap Outlet. She got her sport clothe for exercising and I was off by then. So we went to the parking lot and it was pouring like crazy. so to wait we decide to go for a coffee and some snack. When we finished we went to the parking lot and still raining, but Sofia was so fussy asking for her mommy that I decided to run under the rain and bring up the car so we can go to home. So I got completely wet b y the time we got Sofia in her car seat and Maria hold the umbrella so Sofia wouldn't get wet.
When I got home, I was exhausted, but I needed to take care of the dogs that were all wet, Maria gave Sofia a bath and I fixed dinner. I was like fainting, I had never felt this tired lately, Oh my gosh. Laura came in around 6:00 pm and Noel came in around 6: 30 pm. I served dinner and excused myself and came into my room, put up my feet and rocked myself in my favorite rocking chair to unwind and take my breath. Laura went home around 9:00 until they got the kitchen and dishes done, Maria went to bed early and I went out of the room and fix myself a night snack, took a bath and went to bed early.
In terms of food intake I did good. Stayed within calorie range, but on the high side of the range, sadly low in protein, met my goals in fat, carbs and sodium. It was really an exhausting day for me and Maria explained me this tiredness is because the so low hemoglobin level I am showing (8.9 mg), she wants me to see an specialist on blood cause she said this is not normal for me at this age, so she will go with me to my family physician, his school of medicine professor to have a "professional and medical talked" as she said, with him and suggest that he will refer me to the specialist. So one more thing to deal with it.
Looking forward into day 67, I hope you enjoy my trip as much as enjoyed Sofia yesterday. See you later to share notices on day 67 and may you be abundantly blessed, I love you all fellow sparklers!!!!!
