Well, since I started this whole journey back in August I've really put my shoes through the ringer. I'm looking into a new pair of athletic shoes, I've been looking at Nike Shox or Reebok Zigs. I was wondering what you guys wear and what you think are great to workout in? So let me know what you think! :)

Also, last week when we were at the zoo we had our picture taken. I used to DESPISE full body photos, but since I've been sparking I can see slow changes in my body. So, this picture actually didn't look too bad. It's exciting to see changes in yourself! :)

I have a lot of problems with my feet hurting and need the arch support and cushioning insole. I finally decided to splurge and get a good pair of running shoes (the most comfortable type of shoe for me) and ended up with Asics. I think they are great.

I recently had to buy a new pair of sneakers since my last pair was five years old and -awful-.. I invested in some Acics, in order to get the most support and cushion for my weight (and my joints!). They may be for running (which I don't do yet), but I really like them. They have a really nice fit, the toebox isn't too snug and the support is to die for. It even has nice support on the back of the heel and ankle which felt somewhat awkward at first but I feel very stable in them.

I used to never wear sneakers, but now I find myself wearing them over my sandals some days!

Good luck with your shoe search! I really recommend shopping around and trying on a bunch and TESTING them.. some stores (the really intense fitness stores) even have treadmills in the shoe section so you can test them out and make sure they aren't going to hurt your feet. The one I went to had a stretch of hardwood flooring so you could test the shoes both on the carpet and solid floors.. nice stuff.

Congratulations on seeing the changes in yourself. It's so great to get to that point. I don't know anything about the shoes you are asking about. I actually hate wearing full shoes. I bought a pair of Keen sandals that cover my toes but let my feet breath. I wear them everywhere, even hiking. So if you are looking at something for warm weather you should check out Keen. As for tennis shoes if you don't get much input here check out reviews online for the ones you are looking at. good luck choosing.
