I was surprised this morning when I counted the weeks and realized that I have been at this for 8 weeks. I'm surprised because I still feel motivated and positive about working on my new healthy lifestyle, and I have not been crossing off the days on the calendar like I'm enduring a prison sentence. I have lost weight, inches, and increased my energy. In my previous attempts to get fit I would have been splashing around in a bowl of dip by now and hanging laundry on my treadmill. Not this time. Now I'm splashing around in a bowl of fruit and running (jogging actually) 19 straight minutes on the treadmill. (A huge accomplishment for me). Here's to another 8 weeks!
