Personally, I feel if we have to rename our foster dog, it should be spelled GIZMO, not Gismo.....

I picked up the foster and he is quite beautiful. He is a Golden Retriever, but a small one. Needs to gain some weight, though, too skinny. He was given up by a European who is moving back to Europe in a c ouple of weeks. She had no toys for him and he basically was kept in a room off of her kitchen. Living with us will be a major change for him.

My daughter, Rachel, is totally in love with him. I told her we are not going to be a "failed" fosterer, ie, one who does not give up the foster. We already have two retrievers. I do not think my house can hold anymore hair balls. :)

Gonna be weird the next few days with a new dog and no husband, Paul is on a business trip. I really hope he can maintain his will power and not overeat too much.

Gotta go. We are hoping Gismo (Gizmo) will stay in a crate tonight. He is recovering from neutering surgery today.

I agree, once you get past one dog, you have a pack...LOL Our third dog was not planned, but the poor little guy was really sick, a coworker going through a divorce had neglected him, and asked me to take him, she did not know just how sick he was. We had to have most of his teeth pulled immediately, he had an infection in his heart from the bad teeth. He is part of our family now, have had him nearly three years. Every time I vacuum, I get an entire dog in the canister, I am surprised my furbabies are not bald!

Doing this from my blackberry. Today was a very bad calorie day. All they had was fried shrimp and scallops wrapped in bacon.

Sat will have to be a restart day.

    Love you!

    2 dogs, 3 dogs, what's the difference...
