wake up call

Hi sparkers. Hope you're all well. I haven't blogged in a month. Been kind of down in the dumps about my weight loss. Since I reached the 40 pound down mark at the end of March, I've gained back about 10 pounds. I was invited out a lot, and didn't make the best food choices. Also have to get more exercise. I don't know why, but I just kind of let myself go. Today the scale was a wake-up call, and I need to change my ways. I know I can do it, and can get the weight off, but I just have to do what I know I need and want to do.

    Hi, I've been away fro SP for a while so just stopped by to say hello and how are things. Sorry to hear about your slip up, but that's all it is, a slip up. It's all too easy to beat yourself up over these things, but EVERYBODY slips up sometimes. You'll get back on track (know it can be hard, but you can do it!) and don't let that downward spiral suck you under anymore. :)

    Spark er up! Sparkity-spark, spark, spark, spark!!!! Getting derailed is part of the process.

Aim for progress and not perfection. After all it even took god six days to create the earth and on the seventh day he chilled out because he belonged to a really good union that Scott Walker hadn't yet disbanded.

So you had your Sunday, gal. Now put away the Easter hat and your white gloves get your sneakers on. Spring is here, get on your Sparkley Davidson and rev 'er up!

    Glad to see you back, I know how you feel it has become a struggle it seems that there is always something going on, and it always involves food and alcohol , fortunately I've been able to maintain, but I need to get rid of those 35 lbs, so I've decided that I will reach my goal but it will take a little longer. Good you re joined us because at least you know that you are not alone! emoticon emoticon

    Good to see you back...sometimes those setbacks happen after you reach a landmark like 40 pounds lost. I don't know if it's true in your case, but it's like one says, "OK, now what?" and momentum gets lost.
