1) Read 40+ books this year
-Again, this is the goal I've made the most progress on. So far, I've read fourteen books this year.
2) Learn to drive/Get driver's license
-I went to the Driver's License Division and picked up a copy of the most recent Driver's Handbook, but I haven't renewed my learner's permit. It expired on the seventh of this month. I still haven't been behind the wheel since last summer. I think my biggest fear at this point is driving my mom's new van. It is the best car we've ever had, and I'm terrified of wrecking it. In a way, I wish we still had the old POS van.
3) Finish bedroom
-I finally made some progress on this one! I couldn't find the right size curtains anywhere so my mom's friend is going to custom make them for me in exchange for a beaded pen. I still need to pick the fabric, but having someone else make the curtains rather than do them myself will speed up the process for sure!
4) Get out on my own more often
-I went to lunch with a friend on the first of this month. That probably doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment to most of you, but for me it is. I got out of the house, and I didn't have any of my family with me which is a step out of my comfort zone. I was still nervous to do it, but I had a great time, and we are having lunch again on the twenty-ninth!
5) Use the gym enough to make it worth the membership cost
-I still haven't renewed the gym membership, but we are getting ready to. We've been going to the gym a little more just paying as we go. Mom and I want to start water aerobic classes, and having a membership will save us quite a bit of money on those. So, we'll be renewing the membership next month.
6) Stop "picking"
-I was doing good on this for awhile...but I haven't been lately. At least I'm more conscious of what I'm doing. I still start to do it without thinking, but I notice what I'm doing so it is more possible to stop.
Well, that is all for my update. I hope you all are having a pleasant Easter. Thank you for reading my blog. If you want more information on my goals, feel free to read my other blogs, especially... www.sparkpeople.com/mypa
