30 Day Shred... wish me luck

Well I'm on day five of the 30 DS and boy am I sore!!! This 30 day thing is going to be very challenging for me because on top of it I'm trying not to drink for 30 days lol No I don't have a drinking problem but every weekend there is some function or some party were I like to have a few social drinks. So here's hoping I can resist the urge to PARTY lol!! The 30 day shred isn't so bad but I'm still on level 1 so we will see.... Well off to kickboxing , advanced I'm in now and getting my butt kicked but I love it !!! emoticon

    I'm with ya on the drinking thing. Of course today is the first time in 3 weeks I've had some beers. Caps are in the playoffs and the guys are over. Gotta be social. I give myself one cheat day a week and it looks like today is my cheat day =)

Good Luck with your 30 day Challenge! I am doing the same. Pushing through!

    Jodi - I am so proud of you for sticking to the 30 day shred - honestly - I recieved it from netflix and never even put it in the DVD player - I returned it... :( shame on me.

But you have inspired (or guilted) me into doing it again! I will re-order it and give it a shot.

    Excellent challenge! 30 Day Shred and 30 Day drinking! Drinking can so sneakily and easily pile on calories so I absolutely think that you will see results just from that! My hardest part about weekends is DOING MY WORKOUTS. It's so easy to just want to take it "off" from everything so I have to really get disciplined to do my workouts.

We also keep hard boiled eggs on hand. If we are going to be going out to eat or over to a friends house I will eat one so that way I have a little protein in me to assist with conquering all the "temptations".

Tomorrow is my Day 5 and it certainly is a challenge! I'm trying to push myself hard too so I can be geared up and ready to go for level 2!
