Staying on top of my diet

We went to Girl Scouts and Awanas this week. This is actually a fun part of our family activities. At Girl Scouts I am the cookie mom. At Awanas my husband is the game leader and I provide the crafts. Last night they had cookies and offered me some. I gracefully declined and didn't feel deprived at all. Boy it really feels good to be able to stay on top of my health for a change. For dinner, my husband I went to Jack-in-the-Box and I had a Southwestern Chicken Pita. Yum, I loved it! Only 230 calories and 3.5 grams of fat!
Since I homeschool my daughter she loves to try new things. For the past year she has been cutting my hair. I've been way overdue this month and she cut it for me. Afterwards I colored my hair with temporary dye.
She's a motivated child. She sold over 500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this past month and is memorizing Bible verses at an excellerated rate to obtain the goal of obtaining an Award Plaque in Awanas.
I look at all the work I do to support my child in her goals as a great benefit for myself. I get exercise and quality time with my child.
