April 17th 2011 Update ****
My primal blueprint that I started December 28th 2010 has morphed in to an eating lifestyle that Is really working for me .
I honestly don't have any cravings for food like I used to and the constant obsession with "what can I eat next" is ..just .... gone !
I look forward to each day now instead of dreading it . Starting each day now is easy and fun because my clothes are starting to fit nice again and I actually have great food waiting for me throughout the whole day, and real treats that I can look forward to . Treats that I like ... not what I am told I should like . I don't stress now . And of course the tracking has been a lifesaver and the great motivational stories and blogs I read every day keep my head where it should be .
Now that I have lost 12 pounds with maybe 10 or 15 to go I can say that this is getting to be more of a "fun" phase for me . Because not only have I found what works for me ,but there is a " trust" in the process now that I did not have before ... and finally...... I am feeling and seeing real results !
At or above 60 grams of protein a day works well for me ! I also try to stay under 150 grams of carbohydrates and 1650 is my total calorie intake . Lots of Vegetables , fruit and a variety of recipes are keeping it all fresh for me !
SO IT"S ALL TRUE ...just keep at it ! You will find your way !
So far ...REALLY good !
