April. A month of new beginnings..

Friday, April 15, 2011

Well I went from working at a laundry mat for a month, to working in home health care and housekeeping to another. I ended that tonight. And now Monday, I'll be starting a new job one that is more legit where they take taxes out of me and hopefully do well enough to be there a long time so that I can get my points done for my social security down the road.

All in all, I learned more about myself. My strength and weaknesses. I challenged myself, and gave thanks for each and every goal met that I put before me.

At the moment, I am at home at peace, working 4 hours hard cleaning for the last time at the last job, and paid for my efforts. Saturday is grocery day, we also probably will be cleaning the yard as well if the weather permits.

Earlier today I went and did errands so that's out of the way. I am looking forward to summer. My son Josh still is having stomach pains but we're now using Mineral Oil to help with cramping. He takes one tablespoon a day. Hoping that next week goes better for him.

I got home and my husband surprised me with a wonderful stuffed pepper and yogurt fruit salad. If I can just get my aches and pains under control this will be a perfect night.

I surprised him by making the bed with clean linen, and tomorrow the boys room will get fresh linen as well on their beds.

My scale finally bit the dust and so will eventually have to replace that as well.

So much to learn, new challenges, new goals, and new beginnings. I feel like Nanny McPhee... what did she say?

"When you need me, but do not want me, then I will stay. When you want me, but do not need me, then I have to go."

That is how I feel about tonight about saying good bye to the wife. I went there, helped them organized their home and life, and now it was time for me to move on. So I am content and happy with a week's worth of good works that hopefully makes the next person that goes there life easier.

And with that.. that is how my week has went so far..
and.... the month of April... so far.

Have a Great Weekend!

Jean

You are sure keeping busy.
It's so good to see you blogging. I enjoy reading up on your goings on.
