Why can't it just be like this all the time?

So in my head I am ready to rock the weekend challenge. When I am in the zone if feels so good. Why or why can't it just be like this all the time. Why can't I just have a few chips or a small piece of desert and be happy about it? No I have to have the bag of chips or if I have desert, mmmm what can I have next, cause you know now I blew it?

So far, my head is in the right place. Exercised this morning, meal is planned for today. I always log my food, other wise I would not know where I am at calories wise. funny thing, went to weight watchers many many years ago, I still weigh and measure my food faithfully. It's one of those good habits that has stayed with me.

For those of you in the challenge good luck, we can do it!

    I can relate to what you are saying on so many levels. Once I start losing, I tend to sabotage myself and gain everything I've lost. And now, I can't even get up off my butt to do something! I am really looking forward to this round.

    We expect too much of ourselves and expect perfection which doesn't exist. I have to portion things out of the bag or I'll eat too much. But by tracking your food you can have dessert & stay within your range. Wishing you all the best!
