TOO CONFUSED TO LOSE (the weight)

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Evening everyone. Happy Thursday! Feeling a little discouraged. I can't seem to get this calorie intake and fitness thing together. I am enjoying walking a little too much I guess. Every time I log in my fitness minutes, I get this annoying message about not eating enough. Well, I don't miss meals and snacks, I try to eat the 1700 calories a day, which are at the low end, but I can't seem to catch up. I've been stuck on the same 13lb weight loss forever seems like. Well when this first began to be a problem for me, I gained 1lb back. Whew this is becoming stressful. I'm trying hard to hang in there. I've changed my fitness minutes instead of 30 minutes, M-W-F-S i'm going to do just M-W-F and see what happens. Wish me luck.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I ate my 1200-1550 calories and actually did well more than the 90mins of cardiothis week.....result....UP.4!!!!!!!!!!!!
!! I too get the message, in RED print, about exercising too much for the calories I am eating. I am NOT hungry, so WHY eat? You are not the only confused and frustrated Spark out there..... emoticon

Calories are a strange thing. They are calculated based on your BMR as well as how many you burn. So - if you keep getting this message, you need to modify your fitness goals so that your nutrition values change too. For example, if you're burning 1000 calories per week, maybe 1700 calories per day to eat isn't enough. If you need help on how to modify the fitness/nutrition goals - spark mail me.
