Well I have worked out on the elliptical every morning for 30 minutes this week. I feel amazing. I am not sure what to expect with this. I don't know how to calculate calories burned but it shows what it thinks I burn...then I put it (time on the elliptical) in here and its almost doubled calories burned. IDK all I know is I am sweatn like a whore in church. :D I love the way i am feeling. My legs look amazing I must say. And its even toning my arms some. I am gonna start incorporating strength training at some point but I just can't right now. No excuses....its just not happening. I am trying to watch what I eat and make healthy choices and drink my water. I am hoping this motivation stays for a long long time as I have lots of weight to lose. But I am happy about the minor changes I am seeing already.
I wish I could get my Hubby to take his health serious but he seems to just not care. I just work out every morning and he sees me before he leaves for work and I am hoping he will see how much better I am feeling and join my club. I am trying to be a better role model for my kids (15 yr old daughter, 5 and 4 yr old sons). I have noticed if I buy little debbies and fruit the little debbies are eaten first. SO I buy fruit and display it where everyone can see it and get to it and guess what? It gets eaten :D I add healthy things to each meal - lower calorie things, whole wheat, the kids drink diet soda or water now. Very little juice.
I want my whole family to be healthy!!!!
