Today is the first time I have logged into Sparks in a VERY long time. I have buried my head and haven't come up for air in a while. I had quit smoking, lost weight, ate healthy and exercised regularly ...but then I was diagnosed with an illness and lost my mojo to keep going.
Now, months later, I am starting to think straight again and see that I have screwed up royally. I have learned a lot about myself in the process though, so I don't see that I am starting over. Instead, I am continuing my journey and using what I have learned. It isn't always the big things that count ...but the little things I do every day to make a difference.
-spend time talking with my family and enjoy the little things.
-reach out to my friends more often.
-pull out the treadmill again and make walking a daily priority.
-challenge myself to question my food choices when I am reaching for snacks
-use the tools given to me to make myself healthier, even though it may be hard.
Note to self: Thanks for listening to what is in your mind AND heart.
