mmmmm....Help!!!

Tuesday, April 12, 2011

I'm having such a hard time getting focused again. When I started TurboFire I was on top of my workouts 100% and ever since I got off track due to my recent move, I can't seem to get back on like I was before. I mean, I love the workouts!! the hard part is popping the DVD in. It seems like I don't have time, like I don't get enough sleep....it's crazy! I tell myself every night that I'll wake up early to get my workout in, but I feel so tired and can't seem to wake up.
I do workout a few times a week, and I try going to the gym but I don't feel like Im working as hard as I use to.
This is becoming so frustrating. I mean what is it? Do I not have the courage to lose weight? Is it normal to feel this way? What do i need to over come this? or better yet, how do I get through this?

Sweetie - are you eating properly and taking vitamins? I know that when I get tired like that my eating has gotten a little off course.

In addition - the recent move could have you in a bit of a funk because things are new; especially if you moved to a completely new area and aren't familiar with everything. Maybe you could research joining a fitness class once or twice a week. It might be what you need to get back to working out a bit and also allow you to meet some new people.

Hang in there - I know that you'll figure this out. You just can't give up! And you came here to blog about it so I'm sure your spark community will step up with lots of sound advice!

i made a point to go to bed earlier so that i could wake up early enough to do the workouts. You might want to start off with just doing the shorter workouts in the morning first and then gradually increase it. Make sure you schedule your workouts!

I like it when people type out their schedule in the beginning of the week and then report how they did at the end. It makes them feel more accountable.

If i can make time for working out! you can too! Yea i'd love to sleep in but that isn't what brought me from a size 14 to a size 8-6!!

One you need the right train of thought. Most of march i was in the same way. I just didn't want to do any exercise. Always finding excuses. I have actually found if i exercise that i actually sleep better at night. You might keep that in mind.

Girl I think it's totally normal on this journey to have the ups and downs. Part of making it a lifestyle is making it work for you so it takes changing. But also with FIRE I've had my days (weeks) of dreading it but then it when i get back doing it I build momentum. But here's the other thing...sometimes life is just crazy! Being a mom, wife and the million other things that we do can make us tired and make it hard to fit it our workouts. Maybe you could find a time to schedule it just even 3x a week to start so that you don't feel disappointed that you aren't 'following' the schedule. I have many versions of the FIRE schedule just bc I can't always do 6x a week. Actually I never do~ usually I can do 4-5x. You can do this! Just remember it's a process and you are figuring it all out still!
