This weekend started out at with an appointment for my DH and I to do our taxes. Luckily, we got great news from our tax person. Thanks to some added deductions last year and better investments we faired pretty well.
My DH, son and I went to the beach to walk on Saturday. My son and his girlfriend were having "issues" and he needed to get out. He loves going to the beach and climbing on the rocks. He and my DH did just that and sat and watched the ocean. They need some father/son bonding. I on the other hand walked for awhile just thinking about this weight loss journey I can't seem to put 100% focus on. Its just so freakin' frustrating. I go through this crap every week. Every week.....
Sunday my DH went fishing and my son and I hung out at the house, our usual Sunday routine. Laundry, chores, homework. Only I noticed my son was really down. He and his gf had broken up. He was a mess. So I dropped everything, the hell with it, I could clean during the week and laundry well that can always wait. So I suggested we get out of the house and take a drive. We drove around and talked, then went to see a movie. My son and I are really close and I hate to see my baby upset. (he's 17 but will ALWAYS be my baby).
By Sunday night, he seemed better and things felt like they were back to normal. I probably have more gray hair (God Bless you, Miss Clairol) but we're gonna be ok.
So today is Monday. Here we go again..... breakfast was a total of 350 calories. having a salad for lunch. Planning on making Tilapia and veggies for dinner. I got my Zumba kit in the mail on Friday so I'll be starting that. Also, I need to put on the armband again tonight. God, please help me get through this week without any glitches...
