Let me explain...
My adoption of the 4-Hour Body (4HB) system is exciting, and has actually diminished my need for SparkPeople...
Let me explain:
One of the big BIG benefits to the SparkPeople site is the ability to track caloric intake, as well as track calories burned. You can't argue against the fact that there is a huge emphasis placed on those activities on this network.
Since 4HB really doesn't require you to count calories eaten or burned, my need for this network had diminished a little bit. The conversations are still good, when relevant, but there aren't a lot of relevancies within this community I'm afraid.
If you're not familiar with 4HB:
(1) Avoidance of White Carbs (or anything that can exist in white form like rice, breads, pasta, etc)
(2) Eat the same few staple meals over and over (experiment with preparation, but stick to the basics)
(3) Don't DRINK calories
(4) No fruit or juice (fructose is most easily converted to fat)
(5) Take one day off per week - ala "Cheat Day", eat anything you want
