If you live in an Apartment Block, the Management may know of some residents who would be happy to take you to appointments. If they are unable to help, there are Church Groups who did this on a voluntary, roster basis, and often for no charge, or just a minimal donation. If you have a Social Worker, I would suggest speaking with him/her about your situation. It seems to me like you could really do with this type of help. Ensure that you speak with your Dr about how you feel, too - sooner rather than later. It may be that you could do with some medication to help, or for the meds you are on to be reviewed.

Are you having Therapy? You may find that if you aren't, that this will help you! A lot of members on SP feel like they are alone all the time. With this site, there is always someone around. Perhaps if you would like to join in (if you aren't already) in some active threads where you can verbalize your thoughts/feelings, and share with others in similar situations as you. I'm not referring to the emoticon threads. I know on the Dealing with Depression Team there are a couple really good ones for that, and the members who participate in them get lots of friendship and support. I know it isn't the same as people in person, BUT sometimes it is better! You can be more open and it is totally safe!
