Has it been a year already?

Well, I started last year out right! I ended up losing 36 pounds between January and July. But after summer I got into a slump. I was in a relationship that I wasn't happy in and I again turned towards food. I gained about 15lbs of that back :(

It's now April and I can honestly say that I am in a great relationship with a man that I love. I am looking forward to moving into my new house and start to cook meals and getting back into working out. I'm hoping that SparkPeople will help me achieve my goals again!

    It sounds like you caught yourself in time. Better to start back than not at all. Even if you only manage to maintain, you are still doing something about it, and moving in the right direction. Congrats on all the good things you have going on! :-) emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Laurelspark: I've had a really hard time staying motivated too, which is why I logged back onto Sparkpeople! I also have the app for my iphone, which makes logging my exercise and nutrition even easier :)
