Taking this one day at a time....

I know that the key to this weight loss journey is consistency. And I know that I haven't been consistent. I may be good during the week and blow it on the weekend. Or I might be good for a couple days, and then off a couple days. That's no way to win this battle!!

I'm gonna work hard to stay consistent. And you know what? I'm gonna reward myself too. This week I've been on track with my eating and exercise. My goal is to stay on track each day, and track my food on spark.

As far as exercise goes....I'm doing Jillians shred 3 days this week and Zumba 2 days. I may add more, but this is what I'm committing to.

If I can stay on track the entire week- I'm gonna buy myself something. I don't know what yet, but something.

I'm gonna get this stinkin weight off!!!!

    Rewards are important on this journey! We have to have a sense of accomplishment in order to keep moving forward! You can do this, and I know you will! I'm glad you joined in on the challenge, the team is so supportive, it's the perfect place to be!

    Good job recognizing your inconsistency and committing to do something about it! Admitting these things to ourselves and publicly to other people, is one of the hardest parts. I think blogging about it really helps with accountability, though. It also helps to get that extra support. I know emoticon

    I struggle with consistency too. A week or 2 of good work... and then I start making excuses and eating things I shouldn't, or in portions larger than I need.

One thing that is motivating me to stay on track now is seeing my SP weight graph- with the red line of where I would be if I had stayed on track, and then my actual weight line (way above that) showing where I really am now. It makes me realize what steady effort could potentially accomplish. And it makes me want it more :)
