Ok so I started this about 2 hours ago...and got a phone call which helped me not overeat..Thankfully!

So....today was an interesting day. My daughter is sick with some viral infection which of course can't be healed with meds..haha...So, she stayed home yesterday and I took her to the doctor today...

I went shopping the WORST WAY...on an empty stomach. I was starving after the doctors and I just had to go food shopping as the weather has been rainy and no fun to be out in ...One good thing is I didn't buy a lot of junk food, just food for my daughter as she is supposed to eat light foods.

My day started out good. I worked out for 3 miles (day 2 of Leslie's 7 day challenge with this new dvd I bought of hers the other day) and then I ate good...under 400 calories for breakfast. But then lunch kinda got away from me. I was so hungry so I had some salsa w/ tortilla chips and some light sour cream...but somehow I thought that wasn't many calories so I made a lean cuisine pizza meal which was 320 calories and even though I didn't eat the whole thing...I felt really full and had some stomach pains after that...Then, I found my daughter's stash of GS peanut butter cookies and had two (140 cals for 2)...they were good and ...but I just didn't eat any dinner b/c I ate enough the whole day before dinner...how awful is that!?

I was hoping to get another work out in, but I really need my zzzzzzzzzz's..Especially after watching Dr Oz today.

    I find that if I have to choose between sleep and working out, I almost always choose sleep. It helps more in the long run for me.

However, I find that when I eat things like chips, pizza, cookies and then skip a meal in there somewhere to make up for it, I am MUCH more tired and sluggish. So, maybe a small salad with a little protein would be okay for dinner instead of nothing and then you'd have more energy???

  There'll be days when it's a little harder than usual to keep the 'ol appetite in check. Just keep working out! Hope your daughter feels better soon. emoticon
