Hot Yoga!

I've done it three times now...loving it! I've tried two of the three types offered. Each class, when it really gets going, I think to myself 'not sure if I can make it the whole class'. My arms and neck get pretty tired with some of the poses. And I'm making very slow progress with the balance poses. I was pretty sore the next day after the first two vinyasa classes but last night I did the bikram style and I feel great today! My joints and muscles are not achy. It really feels like a good workout and a good stretch all in one.

Very glad to have found this yoga studio!

    Oh wow, I just read about Yoga today and this hot yoga was a new one for me. I thought this was done in that right? Anways...thanks for sharing...I am going to be looking into this and see just what I can do considering my weight I have to be really careful.

    I'm glad you're loving it! I find I'm more sore after the Vinyasa classes, but I think that's because we use our arms more, and my arms are definitely the weakest part of my body.

    Balancing is HARD. It takes a lot of practice, and you need to celebrate the little victories. Even if you balance and extra 3 seconds, it's still an improvement!

    Have read a lot about hot yoga, never tried it though. Must put it on my to do list. emoticon
