So I finally started losing a little and working out more consistently following some of the spark principles and then I got this horrible gastroenteritis and haven't been able to workout much or even handle much in the way of solid food since a week ago! Go figure. But I won't give up. I have a long way to go but it is good to see some progress, and my recent move to a new state I think was good for me. I have been working night shift since my boys were born. Can't believe it's almost 12 years! The thing is, I keep telling myself that I'm waiting for my schedule to normalize to do the things I want to do. But being a mom, I don't think that ever really happens. So maybe it's time to just do what I have always wanted. That includes losing weight, but theres more. I am more motivated by the need to be an example of good health for my kids too. I want to get my black belt, I want to write. I'm not getting any younger, so it's time to stop feeling bad about my schedule, being tired, etc and accomplish something. So here we go again...but not giving up this time.
