I didn't make the best choices over the weekend. I had my daughter's party and there was cake...chocolate cake and even though I told myself I wasn't going to eat any..I couldn't resist. I had some ice cream as well..and then we ordered my fave pizza..Mexican and the place we go to makes it so yummy so I couldn't, but should've not had as many slices as I did.
Then, Sunday I had my friend's baby shower and it was a buffet brunch! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so I loved it! And I only drank water except for that one cup of hot chocolate w/ whipped cream..so yummy! I had a couple bites of the cake...it wasn't as yummy as the one I got for my daughter's party..so I was tempted to eat the whole thing.
I did my Zumba class on Saturday so it wasn't that bad as I burned like 400-500 calories..but yesterday I didn't have time or energy to work out..I was so tired when I got home that I took a nap...and then today...I pigged out a little on the rest of the bday cake and had some ice cream...but I finally got a workout in at 10pm tonight...
I just have to re-focus for the rest of the week and just eat within my calorie range and exercise each day...
Yeah, there will always be SOMETHING come up - holidays, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, etc. The best you can do is indulge in moderation so you don't feel totally deprived, then just step it up a notch in workouts.
One thing I like is CalorieKing.com - it gives you a variety of exercises to offset the calories eaten. More than once, that list has helped to hold me in check! LOL
It's all about refocusing and adjusting once more to the life style you want. I had a bad 4 days this past wknd too (Thursday - Sunday), but I won't beat myself up. I'll just get back up, dust myself off and I started new again on Monday. Keep the beat. I know you can do this ~ Donna 1907 days ago
