"I set before you life or death, blessing or curse. CHOOSE LIFE, then, so that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord, your God, obeying His voice, clinging to Him." (Dt. 30:19-20)
This is one of my favorite verses. CHOOSE LIFE!! We really do need to choose life every day, in decisions big and small!
I'm rereading and meditating "The King, Crucified and Risen" by Benedict Groeschel. It is very thought-provoking. He reminds us that Lent is a time for choosing, and that we have to repeat and renew our choices over and over again. Conversion is a lifelong process. He says we need to use this time of Lent to get to know ourselves, and to go down deep inside and ask ourselves: " Do I really choose life?" Plenty of food for thought right there!
Here's to start of a great week! Need to be optimistic, right? LOL
Yesterday I was working on my strength exercise plan, trying to individualize it with different exercises every day of the week. Since mixing up the cardio has helped me to get losing again, I want to mix up the strength exercises too. Well, I found where and how to make up a plan for each day, but then couldn't find a way to print it. So I had to track it for this whole week ahead of time - which I don't like to do (although I can remove anything I don't do). But I kept making mistakes, removing and doing it again, until I finally got it right.
Then last night, when I looked over my Feed, i discovered that because of the removing and fixing, I crossed 9,250 fitness minutes 3 times!! LOL Then I crossed 9,500, when I actually haven't done them all yet - it's just that I had to plan the whole week to print it!
And then it doesn't carry over from week to week, where I can just check off what I do, like the automatic plan did. I have to admit, I'm a little frustrated
right now, because I like to print it up every Sat. night, and then every day check off what I do as I do it (on paper), and then track online. But so far, looks tike I have to to plan the whole week ahead if I want to print it!
I might consult on the Fitness Message Boards, or I might just type up my plan and make copies, but then if I want to add/change or anything, I'd have to do it again!
Oh well, I'll figure something out!!
Have a wonderful week, friends! And may your days be filled with very special blessings!
