Project "Make Good Choices/Do Something to Move"

Today is the beginning of Project "Make Good Choices / Do Something To Move". I need a change. I have gained back 7 of the 30 lbs that I lost and I still have over 20 lbs to lose get to my original goal weight. It's so easy to slide down the slippery slope and get sucked back into Project "Make Bad Choices / Do Nothing To Move". I have decided I will start blogging here for several reasons: 1) Therapy for myself 2) Accountability 3) To inspire others. I don't even know if anyone will read these blogs but I do know that I need to write and keep track of my journey on a daily basis if I want to succeed in becoming the best me. I feel so much better if I am making good choices with food and taking care of myself mentally, spiritually, and physically. This is my new beginning. Just for today I will make good choices with food. That will be my mantra "Make Good Choices". On top of that, and perhaps even a bigger challenge will be doing something to move every day. I have planned on taking the girls (dogs) on a hike tonight after work. If it is raining after work, I will "connect" with my "Kinect" and finally set up that fitness program I have been putting off for over a month now. Oh, I also need to be faithful about logging my food. I'd say those are all great goals for today! ~Peace Out~Susan
