I was getting anguished listening to the storm outside, with the dog out there, so I got all "LEO/alpha beyotch about it" about it and said, "Damn it, I'M the ALPHA beyotch in this house and it's going to be MY way, end of story!! So I put things in order, had a long talk with Wiley (and no, I don't believe he can understand me exactly..haha....but he sure puts up with a lot of my nonsense and tolerates ME well..haha) SOOOOO....we'll see how this plays out. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray for us that no visitors or dogs get uppity and /or nipped!! I'm not much of a kid person and I always get a little nervous when they are together...ya just NEVER know.     Its obvious that he wants to stay there with you.... no trying to get out of the kennel, no barking, no He is on his best behavior execpt for the gas (which he cant help) lol. Hopefully it all works out and you can keep him or you can find a good home for him.

Wiley is an awesome 'fur-child', he so willing played along with the Oath Ceremony LOL!!! You're a riot!
(FYI:Kids voluntarily go in crates...not playpens though and have the capacity to loathe you...much less faithful then a dog. One of the reasons I went for our rescue doggie - I needed a fan club and a walking partner.)

Hope the dogs get along! Still working on my cats and my son's cats. I'm like you, I get too nervous about potential fights, etc.

Hard hearts heal nothing. And you do have kids. They just have four legs, no names when you get them and no idea how lucky they are. I hope you find a home for the pit. He's beautiful.
