We went to the Ligonier Conference in Orlando with good friends from our church. It was FANTABULOUS. Great speakers to encourage one to live Now for God's Glory. That wasn't the title, but I came away, just wanting to implicate all I learned in my life, which will take a lifetime to do. Highly recommended would be the book: Holiness of God by R.C. Sproule.
After this conference, we visited with my younger sister in Tampa, then on to Venice (picture) to get re-acquainted with my home-town. I get home-sick, living 600 miles north and it is not often we go there. It was so much fun to go to the beach, jetty's and walk downtown. I loved every minute of it.
Going away, I was able to keep a pretty good calorie count and do minimal exercise. I don't know if anyone battles with this, but once getting back, I had a hard time getting into the routine. I over ate and I couldn't quite get motivated to exercise. Here it is a few days later and I'm exercising to my hearts content with 15 miles of mountain biking today and 1.25 miles of hiking. My calorie count is lower and I didn't do 'snacking crackers' all day. That happens to be my downfall. I'm still sugar-free and proud of it! I have about 15 lbs. to go to my first goal, then I'll reset for 20 or more to lose.
What has really helped with losing this weight is making it my own project, owning it and treating it like a game...GAME ON!
Have a Blessed Day!
