So here I am in March 2011 and yet again working on my weight. Never ending story....but this time I am really feeling like it will be my time. I don't know why I feel this way I just do.
I am walking, I have been doing this for about a year. I did several races last year and I have my first one coming up in May. It would be great to be a few pounds lighter by then so I am working on it!
I also have a new secret weapon in my fitness arsenal, Boot Camp!! Yup this 53 yo can do Boot Camp AND keep up! I love it, I go twice a week and have been going since last July. Indoors since October and I hope we move outdoors in June. Nothing like being outside and watching the sun rise while burning calories and making your muscles move!
As for nutrition, well I tried the new WW plan and not for me. Did not work at all, just gained. So I went back to same old but I am just staying the same. So I am now trying the 17 Day Diet. It is not a bad diet. I do hate that word though. It is very clean eating right now. No starchy carbs or veg at all, for 17 days and then I get to add in some starchy carbs and starchy veg, healthy grains and the like. I am working on Day 5 of the first cycle so early days, will keep you all posted!
Well must go and enjoy my dinner now, yummy chicken, tomato and broccoli! Love my veg.
