Out of Control

Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Oh maaaan. First day in an entire month that I have gone WAAAAY over on calories. I mean, like 1100 calories over. DANG!

I was SO hungry when I got home. Today was not a great food day. I didn't really eat much at work. Same old oatmeal for breakfast that I always have. But lunch was very unsatisfying (PB&J on whole wheat, pretzels - bland). So, by the time I got home, I just wanted some really good hot food.

Lesson Learned: In order for me to be able to stick with my calorie goals, my lunch MUST be something that satisfies me. That doesn't mean it has to be big...just good.

I REALLY don't feel like working out...but I suppose I should do SOMETHING to work off at least SOME of these calories. I'm really gonna be forcing myself tonight. Ugh. Not liking this feeling at all! I am OVER full and I haven't felt this way in a long time. It's gross.

Lean Cuisine Market Creation bags bail me out on days like this. If you have a freezer and microwave at work it can be a lifesaver when the vending machine starts communicating directly with your tastebuds too. Add applesauce (individual cups for e-z travel and tracking) and you've got lots of food groups covered too.

Race you around the block...............lets go!

That is so true! I love my lunches and I look forward to them after that boring oatmeal in the morning. Don't get down on yourself for one day! Tomorrow pick yourself back up leave today behind you. Planning ahead is by far the best tool I have learned. Heck I even have my food for Friday all figured out LOL

One day does not define you. Quit beating yourself up, plan ahead and get back on track. You can do it! This is not a quick trip, but a journey. All journeys have detours, but planning will help eliminate them.
