Last night I went to do my normal run, but when I set my treadmill up and started running, I felt like it was going way to slow and possibly broke? I turned the speed up a few and then a few more and then a few more till it felt right. But I could tell by my numbers that the machine wasn't really broken. I just felt stronger and faster and more comfortable running than I have ever felt since I started running back in September. It could be the new shoes? It could be that I try hard to have a good step and keep my pelvis tucked? It could be anything or even everything that I have been working on each time that I run.
I have been waiting and wondering if it would ever get easier for me and after running last night, I could look anybody in the face and tell them that I AM A RUNNER!! I have struggled with this feeling that I wasn't really a runner yet. I was very shy and uncomfortable talking about my running to anybody.
My BF has been trying to talk me into a 5K and I feel like I am really ready for that challenge! April 30th will be my first ever 5K. I am nervous, but can't wait!
