I am very pleased with the planning and thought I put into healthy eating this weekend. I am finally viewing the weekends as a time to slow down and prepare healthy foods as opposed to eating every meal out "because it's the weekend."
Everything I ate was either healthy, the correct portion, or I managed to compensate with extra exercise. I resisted the food court at the mall because I knew we were going out to dinner later. While my kids had pretzel dogs and milk shakes I ate a Kashi bar that I brought along. I ate fish for dinner and 4 of us split one dessert. I made good Super Bowl snacks but measured them out and counted all calories.
The end result is I DID NOT OVEREAT AND I STAYED IN CALORIE-RANGE.
That is huge for me!
