It's Tuesday

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Well, it's Tuesday and my neighbor was nice enough to give me a ride up to McDonald's so I can use their free wi-fi to post on my computer. I'm behaving, drinking iced tea sweetened with Splenda, not eating as I had oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins for breakfast earlier and will be having a rice & veggie salad with diced top sirloin for lunch.

I'm considering taking on a female, mixed breed dog that just had a litter of puppies. She belongs to a lady who hasn't been feeding either of her dogs, something I detest! I may fix her some pasta or rice with some diced chicken in it until I can buy her some dog food. I just called Purina and they're sending me some coupons for Purina Dog Chow. I also get coupons from them for their Indoor Formula Cat Food, and the Kitten Chow, and Tidy Cat Kitty Litter.

Hi Epic Buddy, this is a great blog and a great start is breakfast. Oatmeal has some great qualities. I like to guzzle 1/2 a bottle of water right after I eat it. It compounds the full feeling and helps get all that water in.

About the dog and puppies. That is so wonderful. I hate to see animals mistreated. Dogs are great companinons they enrich our lives.

Have a wonderful week 2! emoticon

I sometimes wish I had a dog that I HAD to take for a walk! :) Someone depending on me to take them out. :) You're such a sweet person taking care of that dog.

That is so awesome of you! I love dogs, but I cannot keep a pet as I am so busy all the time. Great job on your nutrition.

Dogs can be fantastic fitness buddies! You are such a wonderful person... I also can't stand when people mistreat animals.

You are making good choices so far! I really wish I liked oatmeal. Maybe I just haven't found the right way to have it. You are doing great! Keep it up!

You are doing awesome with your nutrition! Having a dog will help too - when you take her for walks, you will both get fresh air and exercise!

Sounds like a very giving, humane project to take on. Good luck with the dogs. I hope you can find good homes for the pups.
