WOW! I signed up for my first challenge and already I am challenged at sticking to it! I find water aerobics to be the best exercise possible for me. Both of my knees are compromised with health problems, so conventional exercise is extremely painful. Exercise in the water is great... but now it RAINS! We really need the rain... many recent brush fires have burned acres of trees and have even damaged some homes, so I can't really complain. The rain is desperately needed.
Yesterday (plan number two... since it rained), I got out my Bob Harper walking video. To my surprise, my sister was right there with me! We did the first workout and she did great. Me?... well, I did keep up the movements but I couldn't put pressure on one leg, so only one side of me worked out. When Bob said to switch to the left, I stayed on the right. Regardless, I did get moving and built up a sweat. I suppose if I keep that up, I'll be a size smaller on the right one day! Hmm... an opportunity for a new product... a line a clothing for the "Dual-Sized Woman"!
Today (plan number three... since it's raining), walk around the mall. I can do that. Today, I'll have to get out with the old cane and make a go of it! Spring Break is over here, so there shouldn't be many kids hanging out there. And, it's the end of the month so I'm out of spending money and won't be distracted by sales and smells (mmm,,, I just love the smell of the Yankee Candle Shop). I'll try it!
